Pistachio Waffles
Yield: 12 waffles.
Ingredients
1½ cups Waffle or pancake mix
2 ounces Finely chopped, natural American pistachios
1 Egg, large
1½ tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 cup Low-fat milk
Instructions
Blend finely chopped American pistachios with waffle mix. Add egg, oil and ½ of milk portion and blend together. Add remaining milk and stir until smooth. Bake in waffle iron until golden brown. Serve with Cinnamon Pistachio Butter and maple syrup.
