Pistachio Granola Cereal


Pistachio Granola Cereal

Yield: 4 servings


4 ounces Coarsely chopped, natural American pistachio

1½ cups Rolled oats

1½ cups Bran flakes

1/3 cup Sunflower seeds

1/3 cup Shredded coconut

¼ cup Coarsely chopped, dried apricots

1/3 cup Dried Calmyrna figs, halved

1/3 cup Honey or malt syrup

½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon


Toss all ingredients together. Preheat oven to 325°F. and bake for ½ hour. Cool, then store refrigerated. Serve with milk or flavored yogurt.
